* "A hominid species made famous by the 'Lucy' fossil from Ethiopia could walk down a runway just like a fashion model today, a newly reported partial skeleton shows."
* "Nicknamed 'Big Man', the 3.58-million-year-old male skeleton settles a long-simmering argument over the bipedality of Australopithecus afarensis, an extinct relative of modern humans, say the authors of an article appearing online today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences."
